Emerging in the mid-2010s, he built his reputation through a distinctive fusion of high-energy EDM, Afrikaans lyrical culture, and club-driven synth production, often described as “doef-doef” style music rooted in South African party culture.
He first gained widespread attention with the viral breakout track “Doef Doef,” which introduced his playful, bass-heavy, and irreverent production style to a broader audience.
